Initial Behaviour Consultation (New Clients)

This service is for new clients seeking support with their puppy or adult dog’s behaviour or training challenges. Your first consultation is a 90-minute in-home visit where we take the time to assess your dog, understand your goals, and recommend the most appropriate training pathway moving forward.

During this session we will:
✔️ Collect a detailed history of your dog’s behaviour, background, and daily routine
✔️ Observe your dog in their home environment
✔️ Identify contributing factors and discuss underlying causes
✔️ Provide initial management and enrichment strategies tailored to your household
✔️ Recommend the most appropriate training package

Please note: This session is an assessment only. While you will receive practical advice and some immediate support strategies, this is not designed to “fix all problems in one session.” Behaviour change takes time, and progress happens through one of our structured training packages, which provide continuity and step-by-step guidance.

Cost: $277.50*
Duration: 1.5 hours

Training Packages

Following the initial consultation, clients can select a package with our guidance. We have packages for young puppies and adults.

⚠️ Consultation Availability

Please note that our in-home behaviour consultations are currently unavailable until after 22 August, when our Head Trainer, Georgia, returns.
Group classes are continuing as normal for dogs that are suitable for a group class environment. If you'd like to book a consultation with Georgia upon her return, you can do so using the booking link below. If you cannot wait until then and feel your matter is urgent, we're happy to provide details of other trusted behaviour professionals. You can view our list of recommended referrals here.

Lisa & Bonnie

“Perfect Paws Behaviour Solutions has been a saviour to us in a time of need after taking on a pup that was in a hard situation. All of our dogs adore Georgia, she’s always happy, smiling and pleasant. Her foundation class was top notch and private lessons fantastic!"

Amanda & Lucy

"Georgia is an exceptional dog trainer! Her patience, kindness, and deep knowledge made a huge difference to my dog’s behaviour. She was extremely supportive throughout the training process, making both me and Lucy feel at ease. Highly recommend her for anyone seeking effective rewards base dog training."

Sarah, Hank & Phil

“Georgia is a wonderful dog trainer and a lovely person. She has extensive knowledge in how to train dogs and is able to identify possible issues requiring assessment by a vet, due to her background working at a vet (and her continued work at an animal shelter). My pugs love when Georgia comes over for training! You can tell she really likes animals. I am now armed with the tools and strategies to manage their behaviours and have seen a noticeable improvement in their behaviour and reduction in anxiety. Would not hesitate to recommend Georgia to anyone. It is reassuring to know that I can reach out to Georgia in the future if we need more help, even though we are now largely done with our initial more regular sessions.”
